|Social Fundraising Campaign: Unknown chILD Disorders|
Money Raised: $0.00 Campaign Goal: $50,000.00
Over the past 10 years, the Children's Interstitial and Diffuse Lung Disease Research Network has been working hard to classify patients and discover new diagnoses. They have made great progress with very little funding. However, there are still more patients that are living with a form of chILD that does not have a known diangosis. This means we don't have FDA approved treatments and we don't know what prognosis is ahead of these patients.
Without a diganosis or a group of patients with the same disorder, it is difficult to find traditional funding for research to find answers for these patients. Because of this, grass-roots fundraising is critical to fund small research projects to collect enough data to perform larger studies and apply for research dollars. We need your help to find out more about this devastating disease!
Disclaimer: Any funds donated in support of a patient or their family cannot be used to fund direct medical costs or be given to the family to cover medical or other expenses. Instead, it will be used to support the efforts in that patient’s diagnosis to benefit all children that share that diagnosis. For every dollar that is donated here, 70% will go directly to Unknown chILD programming. The remaining portion will go into the general fund to be used where it is most needed.
